Richard M. Lemanski has served as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Compliance Officer of Northern Shipping Fund Management since 2014. In 2013, Mr. Lemanski was Director of Treasury & Risk Management / Controller at Canberra Industries, a subsidiary of Areva. In 2010, Mr. Lemanski co-founded Universal Maritime, a start-up stage crude tanker company backed by an oil major, where he served as Chief Financial Officer until 2012. From 2007 to 2009, Mr. Lemanski was Chief Financial Officer of Eastwind Maritime, a diversified maritime company which owned and/or operated over 100 vessels. From 1990 to 2007, he worked for Stolt-Nielsen, a diversified company with interests in chemical tankers and storage as well as offshore construction where he held a progressive series of financial positions including serving as Senior Vice-President of Corporate Finance and Investor Relations from 2004 to 2007. Mr. Lemanski began his career as an analyst and project manager at Accenture. Mr. Lemanski graduated with a Masters of Business Administration in Finance and Accounting from the University of Chicago in 1984 and a Bachelors of Arts in Economics from Northwestern University in 1982.
